off line digital magazine and e-zine column promoting literacy
is looking for authors to interview for upcoming editions.

About "SOS
Back Cover Spotlight" :
"SOS
Back Cover Spotlight" is a weekly
column that will promote a different author each week. There
is no fee for you to participate. It is designed to promote
literacy and awareness in the community, increase marketing
efforts and expand the reach of authors writing for, by
and/or about us. Currently the column will run in “The
Juice” which is a weekly magazine that is available
in digital, e-zine and printed formats (printed version
inserted in Black newspapers curently in Texas - with a
nationwide expansion in progress). Archives of past weeks
will be available online. You may be invited for a live
online chat and / or a tele-chat the same week.
Books from all genres are welcome. Authors/Publishers/Producers
are encouraged to submit a press kit, along with 2 copies
of their book, tape, audio, cd, or dvd (galleys and review
copies are acceptable as long as product will be available
for sale at the time that articles runs), for consideration.
The column is weekly and there is no deadline except in
the case of search for a specific genre of book / tape /
or product.

How can you be considered?
Simply follow the guidelines for
submission.
Who is eligible? Any author,
publisher or producer of literary
works. (can be printed, audio, cd, tape or DVD) Product
must
be available for purchase at the time of interview if accepted.
(this also includes spoken word artists, comedians and others
with product in and of the formats listed above)
Is there a fee to be considered
or accepted? No
Should I call for more information?
No, submissions will only
be accepted via US mail. the website will be update regularly
with any new or important information.
Should I submit more than once?
No, not with the same material
however you can make additional submissions for other titles.
All submissions are kept in the archive library -any duplicates
will be discarded so save your product. No submissions will
be returned.
If accepted what can I expect?
We will need the following:
1. Completed interview questions with bio,
resume and press kit (2 copies)
2. A copy of your front cover no less that 300dpi (j-peg
or tiff file only)
3. Your picture, no less than 300dpi (j-peg or tiff file
only)
4. 2 complimentary copies of your book for review and our
archive library
5. Be prepared to send 1 complimentary copy of your book
to a fan
